The Lez Watson Inexperience
Welcome to the ninth edition of this award losing website. On the web since 2000, this jolly little construction offers all its readers something for the weekend - and the weekdays too.
Look left for loads of stuff, personal and un-personal, as the site grows, including:
The Ordnance Survey Leisure Map summary lists. Updated every month for the discerning cartomaniac and list buffs. This project began about a decade ago with the data entered on to filing cards. Later is transformed into an AmiPro file [remember them?], and then finally an .htm version. It's well known enough now to be mentioned on the Cambridge University Map Library website.
A bunch of stuff (OK, a list) about the man from Cucamonga; the late and very great Frank Zappa. Fifteen years after his death, Zappa continues to exert a subtle influence on modern 'popular' music. Like Ludwig Wittgenstein [name drop] he is much discussed and written about, but his music is seldom played on the radio. Neither is Wittgenstein's. Cue the internet. My little list will give the reader/listener a wee signpost to the work that is Frank
The much loved My Hosting bit. A special place for putting stuff that has no home elsewhere. There's not much to add here that isn't on the tin, except Bill's contributions are much enjoyed.
Oh yes, and some lovely guff about our cats; the quick and the not-so-quick. See Chester at play, bottom right. My heart is with him every day.
.... and, pictured below, a family photograph circa 1951 for your delictation. As I was born in 1954, I would have been a mere twinkle in this snap, taken by the parish church at Wendover. (Although it could be a neighbouring Buckinghamshire parish; nobody seems to know.)

I hope you find something of interest, and that your journey is worthwhile.
Don't forget to wrap up warm!
